Facts Yemaya Sailing Charter

When is good sailing? Are there certain days that are better than others?

Ideal sailing weather is 3 to 5 Bft, but every day differs, so this is difficult to say in advance.

Do I need sailing experience?

You do not need any sailing experience.

Can I sail myself or is it with skipper?

There is always a skipper on board our sailing yacht who helps or provides explanations where and when necessary,

But you are not obliged to sail yourself.

With how many people do we have to be minimum / maximum?

The sailboat is chartered per day so the number of people is set at max. 10 for a sailing day with the Sweden Yachts 45.

How do I get to the ship?

All participants are asked to gather at the harbor master's office of the Marina in Wemeldinge, from here I will accompany them to the boat.

Where can I park?

There is ample parking at the DIY market Hubo, you can park here for free.

What do I need to bring?

- Sports clothing and also sports shoes, compulsory with light sole, sun cream.

- There is sailing clothes on board for every crew member.

What's on board?

-Soft drinks, a refrigerator, equipped kitchen with the necessary utensils, dishes and cutlery.

Can I get seasick?

If you are sensitive you could get seasick. Take any medication at least one hour before departure and always have a small snack or fruit on board to keep your energy up.

Is there a toilet on board?

You can of course go to the toilet on board our sailing yacht if necessary, and there is also the possibility to go to the toilet in the harbor before departure.
