Experience nature

Naturally, the experience of nature during a sailing trip is of great importance.

The Oosterschelde National Park is a nature reserve par excellence. The underwater life in the Oosterschelde is very varied and exuberant; for many species it is an important breeding ground. On the sandy bottoms you can often see a thing or two about life, which is why divers are very interested.

For example, the Oosterschelde lobster is a regular item on the menus in the Zeeland restaurants, as well as the Zeeland mussels.

With some luck you can also spot the harbor porpoises. Seals and the occasional unusual guest such as a Leatherback Turtle can also be seen in the Oosterschelde.

Spend your vacation under sail

Nothing is more beautiful than getting up on board a sailing yacht on a beautiful sunny morning, and I should know.

I have known the blissful luck to spend my entire childhood on the Zeeland waters, the holiday paradise for those who love water sports.

From Zeeland to the IJsselmeer of Friesland to the Dutch canals and the Biesbosch, I sailed them all together with my parents. It has given me a wealth of beautiful memories.

If I may give you some advice, here it is! Spend your vacation under sail, there is nothing more beautiful than that!

With Yemaya sailing charter you sail with an experienced skipper who takes care of your day down to the last detail, and always with the best guidance. No sailing experience required, but we motivate you to help out while sailing on our sailboat.

Individual day registration (every first Sunday of the month)

Would you like to go on a sailing trip with friend(s)? Do you also like to meet new sailing friends?

Register now for individual trips on our sailing boat, these are organized on a regular basis. Dates of these day trips (every first Sunday of the month) are published on the site or announced by mail.

These trips take place if at least 6 people have registered for the sailing trip in question.

You can piloy the boat yourself, gain experience and simply enjoy the sun, sea and wind.
